Sighting Reports |
The
following incidents were among the sightings of alleged UFOs and
the Unusual reported to researcher Stan Gordon throughout Pennsylvania
and neighboring states (when available). These cases have come to
Stan Gordon’s attention from various sources. Many sightings
that have already been identified as natural or manmade in origin
are not listed. Some of these reports are still being investigated. |

from the Carbon area, moving towards Greensburg, then turning more
in a direction towards Delmont. No sound was heard as it passed through

area of Somerset County observed a Bigfoot. The witness said that
the creature was walking upright like a man and was covered in dark
brown hair. The creature came from the right side of the witness as

Bigfoot Society) Reported to the PBS from a location north of Freeport.
While working to patch a sewage pipe from the main road to the witness
property, the witness describes feeling being watched. When he turns
to look, he observes a tall hair covered creature which was dark in
color, standing on the road and watching him from about 300 yards
away.
As the witness approached the creature, it took
three steps across the road and stepped over a guardrail and went
down an embankment disappearing into the woods. The man stated before
the creature stepped over the guardrail, the creature turned its
whole body and looked at him. The witness described the chest and
head of the creature as having lighter colored hair. The witness
claimed to have found a four toed footprint which he photographed.

9:30 P.M., on a country road near Armbrust, two people traveling in
a vehicle were startled when the headlights hit an object sitting
on the roadway ahead. The object appeared to be cigar shaped, about
a foot in length, and metallic silver in color. There appeared to
be some type of support underneath the object which held the main
body off the ground. The observers heard no sound. As they watched,
the object rose straight up off the road for about 20 feet, then it
moved to the right and the object flew out of sight. |

case was investigated by researcher Jim Brown. The sighting occurred
about 8:35 P.M. when the witness observed a large triangular object
in the sky over a nearby home. The object glowed faintly, and it had
blue lights at the corners. A second strange object appeared in the
sky above the witness which looked like a glass rod. Even more unusual
was when bright sparks suddenly began to fall from the sky from above
the triangular object, and they passed in front of that object. The
sparks seemed to fall to the ground. The first object moved off fast
towards the north and could no longer be observed. The rod shaped
object was no longer visible. |

one point they were side by side. The entire observation was around
8 seconds. |

out around the area since her power had gone out in her home. Looking
eastward the woman saw an odd light which was flashing about 30 feet
off the ground. The light which was only about 50 feet away from her
location, was shaped like a square and looked as thought it was made
up of a mass of light bubbles. The odd light source which was like
an ice cube shape, appeared just above her hedges, and was estimated
at about 2 feet by 2 feet in dimension. The object gradually began
to rise skyward, and soon looked just like a distant light high in
the sky. |

Tionesta. The NUFORC also received sightings from out of state of
what appears to have been the same object and which was later identified
as the re-entry of Russian space debris. |

Joe Nemanich provided the following information. A witness was working
at a construction site during daylight hours when he observed a tall
hair covered man-like creature which was estimated at 7 to 8 feet
tall, standing near the side of the rural roadway. The creature crossed
the road in three long strides and entered into a large swampy area.
There was a large area smashed down of the ground cover where the
creature had traveled through into the swamp. The witness who didn't
want identified, said he was amazed at the creatures's size and speed. |

moved side by side. The light sequence appeared to be made up of 1
red and 4 white lights. The a few minutes later, a 3rd set of two
lights in a row moved across the sky and was lost in the distance. |
